Boston Fencing Club
The Boston Fencing Club is the oldest fencing club in the country, with roots tracing back to 1858. A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the BFC is dedicated to teaching the Olympic sport of fencing to fencers of all ages and skill levels. BFC provides high quality instruction in all three Olympic fencing weapons by professional coaches. BFC coaches have trained national and NCAA champions, international medalists, and world team members. The club's primary goal is to develop athletic and mental skills in a healthy and safe environment of individual and team competition with the aim of using the discipline involved in training and achieving fencing goals to help athletes be successful in the academic, business, and professional worlds.
Boston Fencing Club provides instruction for all ages, starting at 6 years old. BFC programs after school classes, private instruction, school vacation clinics, and birthday parties. Boston Fencing Club is located in Brighton, MA, and is easily accessed by I-90 and by the Framingham-Worcester commuter rail line at the Boston Landing stop and by multiple bus lines.
