Celebrate the opening of the first section of the Springway trail. Enjoy icy treats and some activities and giveaways for the kids. Walk the new Springway trail to the boardwalk around Orkin Lake. 

Meet at the end of Morgan Falls Rd in Sandy Springs
Next the Chattahoochee River and the boat launch ramp.
Look for the tent and balloons!

The 1.8-mile paved trail begins on Morgan Falls Road at the corner of the parking lot to Morgan Falls Overlook Park, continues down Morgan Falls Rd past the dog park and then turns uphill to a scenic boardwalk over Orkin Lake.

Volunteers from the Sandy Springs Conservancy will be available to answer questions about the first section of the Springway trail and plans to complete remainder of the 5-mile Morgan Falls Connector loop trail.
