Learn a bit of local history this Presidents Day at the Mount Ellison house and historic site in New Windsor, where Gen. Henry Knox organized the artillery for a projected attack on New York City in the winter of 1781. Tours of the house will be given and cannons fired throughout the day. 

Musket firing and artillery demonstrations are at 11am, 1:30pm, and 3pm. Blacksmith and medical demonstrations are all weekend.
