Weekday Picks for Boston Kids: Free Film Friday and More, March 2-6

3/1/15 - By Kip Wilson Rechea

Spring is finally in the air as temperatures start to rise above freezing this week, giving stir-crazy families a much-needed break. There's still plenty of time to enjoy the snow, though. With the warmer air, it might be more enjoyable to take the kids to one of the local sledding and tubing hills. However, hiding out and waiting for spring's true arrival at one of the indoor play spaces in the area is another great option.

To get a head start on planning the month, our March GO List highlights events you won't want to miss, including Free Film Fridays at the Museum of Science starting this Friday.

Special events this week include a free Blizzard Voices concert at Jordan Hall, an ARTfull Play program for preschoolers at the DeCordova, and Raccoon Tales puppet show in Brookline. Read on for our picks of the week, and don't forget to check out the full events calendar!
