Participants in the program have an opportunity to learn watercolor and collage techniques, create new work, communicate about their art, and experience community with other artists. Basic art materials are provided to participating students.
The class is taught in English and Spanish.
Colombian born artist, cultural activist, and independent curator Alexandra Rojas lives and works on NYC's Lower East Side and in Upstate New York. Rojas is characterized as a multimedia artist, whose work has been shown internationally.
