LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester has partnered with the Association for Children with Down Syndrome (ACDS) to host a Sensory Friendly event, with specific changes made throughout the attraction to accommodate sensory sensitive children. 

Changes throughout the attraction include: 

  • - Reduced attraction music volume
  • - Kingdom Quest ride lights turned on fully
  • - 4D Movie theater doors open during the movie
  • - DUPLO bricks instead of LEGO bricks in building areas 
  • - MINILAND New York sound effects turned off
