Orchestra 914 presents ¡Celebracion!, an afternoon of Latin American music. Led by music director Russell Ger, the orchestra performs music by Latin American composers, including Carlos Gardel’s irresistible "Por Una Cabeza," made famous in Scent of a Woman.

Other selections include Ginestera’s toe-tapping "Estancia," a Brazilian tribute to Bach by Villa-Lobos, the Argentinian king of tango, Piazzolla; and the roof -raising energy of Mexican composter, Arturo Marquez. Orchestra 914, formerly The Chappaqua Orchestra, seeks to expand the classical music experience for diverse audiences in the Hudson Valley through creative, educational, and community programming with the highest level of artistic integrity.
