Getting Ready for Winter

Sat Dec 9, 2023
10:00am to 11:00am ET
Age: For families
Price: FREE
Location:
Sheldrake Environmental Center

Join a Sheldrake naturalist for a late-fall walk to see what the birds and animals are doing and try to figure out why. Now that the trees are bare, you can see what secrets they’ve been hiding! The naturalist talks about hibernation and migration as examples of animal strategies for winter. Bring your cameras, binoculars, and your curiosity as you take one more turn around the pond before winter arrives.

Part of the Sheldrake Second Saturday Series of free family programs, made possible by a generous grant from Con Edison.

There will be no advance registration for this program.
