At the B&O, select Sundays are dedicated to Sensory Awareness. These days feature environmental accommodations—such as no music, low lighting, quiet areas, and extra signage for sound effects—along with sensory-friendly activities like kids’ crafts, train rides, and tours. This August's theme is Fun in the Sun. We will be making sun hats and going on our "Maryland on the Rails" tour. 

 

Guests also have access to helpful resources, including sensory kits, social stories, and a community table.
