Kids will learn all about what a wetland is, what kinds of wetlands there are, where you can find wetlands, and why they are so important. There will be hands-on activities to learn about the power of wetlands and how to protect them, and (weather permitting) participants will hike to the wetland in Watkins Regional Park to experience a wetland in the winter.

Registration is required. The cost is $5 for Prince Georges county residents and $8 for non-residents.
