Welcome to "Crafty Tales" at Merry Pin! This is a magical journey where stories come to life through the power of imagination and creativity. In this enchanting series, children (recommended ages 3-8 but all are welcome) are invited to gather round as our storytellers weave captivating tales of artists and makers from around the globe.

But the fun doesn't stop there! After each delightful story, young crafters get the chance to immerse themselves in the theme through a hands-on crafting activity.

Gather around for a reading of "The Art Lesson." After, young artists will create art inspired by Tomie DePaola.

From Picasso portraits to Alma Thomas’ rainbows, every session is an opportunity for children to explore their creativity and learn something new.
