Little Amal is the 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee girl, who has traveled to 15 countries with a message of hope and solidarity for displaced people everywhere. Little Amal visits DC September 17-19, with visits to Anacostia's Big Chair, Black Lives Matter Plaza, the Washington Monument, the International School at Langley Park, and Freedom Plaza.

Between September 7 and November 5, 2023, Amal is journeying across the US in one of the largest free public festivals ever created. More than 35 towns and cities from Boston to San Diego and over 1,000 artists and arts organizations have created events to welcome her.
