Maya just wants to be friends with Chloe, but Chloe rejects her every time and Maya stops going to school. Everything changes when Chloe's teacher explains that small acts of kindness can change the world. Chloe realizes she's missed the opportunity to be friends with Maya and that a little kindness could have made a big difference.

Education Artist-in-Residence Jacqueline Woodson will narrate her unforgettable book Each Kindness onstage for its world premiere as a small ensemble performance with musicians and other special guests. Featuring projections of E.B. Lewis’s striking artwork, this story’s powerful anti-bullying message will resonate with audiences long after they've left the theater.
