Inspired by the music and genius of Beethoven, Kennedy Center artist-in-residence Mo Willems created a series of nine large abstract paintings representing his interpretation of Beethoven's nine symphonies. The paintings are intended to invite audiences to experience Beethoven in a new way through both sound and sight.

The exhibit will be on display in the Kennedy Center Hall of Nations for free during the Center’s public operating hours.
