Holiday Heroes at Oracle Park
The Wender Weis Foundation for Children (WWFC) presents its 15th annual Holiday Heroes, a one-of-a-kind holiday wonderland for kids of all ages.
Guests will enjoy an array of festive holiday activities, get a chance to swing in the Giants batting cages, throw a pitch in the bullpen, run the bases, stuff teddy bears, make snow globes, slide down a 100-foot slide, chase mascots on the field, roast s’mores, take pictures with their favorite heroes and more. Celebrity Heroes include Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings, 49er alum Patrick Willis, SF Giants alum Hunter Pence and more.
The event will also feature a special online auction offering one-of-a-kind experiences, trips, and sports memorabilia.
Funds raised through Holiday Heroes will support bringing underserved children from Play Marin, Family House, Raphael House, Junior Giants, and more to Holiday Heroes. Net proceeds will go towards Diamond Dreams, WWFC’s legacy project which kicks off in early 2025, to build the only regulation-size baseball field in East Palo Alto so kids ages 12-15 can learn, play, and prepare for high school baseball as well as obtain life skills like teamwork, resilience, and goal setting.
