Premium Directory Listing Upgrade FAQ
We are making important changes to the Mommy Poppins Directory. We’ve tried to anticipate and answer all your questions below.
Starting Wednesday, September 5, 2018 we’re upgrading our Directory with new Premium Listing features:
- Add a registration button with a link directly to your sign-up or ticketing page.
- Deals will be included with listing subscriptions and no longer require an additional $25/month subscription.
- Deals will include an expiration date field and automatically unpublish when they expire.
- A new, easier-to-navigate dashboard will include your event listings also.
How much will directory listings cost now?
The new rates for Premium Directory Listings will be $275 for an annual listing subscription and $29 per month for a monthly listing subscription. Please note, you will not be charged the new rate immediately.
When will I be charged the new rate?
Annual listings will be automatically upgraded to the new Premium Listing subscription. You can add a deal and take advantage of the new Premium Listing benefits immediately. When your listing renews at the end of your annual subscription, you will be charged at the new rate. Monthly subscribers may keep your regular listing at the $25 monthly rate for six months, or upgrade to a new Premium Directory Listing to take advantage of the additional benefits.
What will happen to my deal?
All current deals will be canceled and unpublished from the site on September 4th, however, if you have an annual listing subscription or upgrade to a premium monthly subscription, your deal will still be attached to your listing, just unpublished. To re-add your deal to your listing, simply click on the edit deal icon to the right of your listing, update your copy as needed, add a new expiration date, and save. Once your deal has been moderated, it will appear in your listing again.
Why don't I see my deal listed with my listing any more?
If you have a monthly subscription, you must upgrade to a Premium Listing by canceling your listing and renewing it. (See below for instructions for canceling and renewing.) Once you upgrade and save, a deal edit icon will appear to the right of your listing on your dashboard. Click to edit your listing (your old deal copy should be autofilled), add an expiration date, and save. Once your deal has been moderated, it will appear in your listing again.
How can I add a deal to my annual listing now?
Starting on September 5th, if you have an annual listing subscription, you can log in to your account and click on the edit icon. In the edit form, click the “Add a Deal” link, enter the details of your deal on the next page, and click “Save & Continue”.
How can I add a deal to my monthly listing now?
Starting on September 5th, if you would like to take advantage of the new Premium Listing subscription with a deal included, cancel your current listing subscription and renew with a new Premium Listing subscription (monthly or annual). When you renew the subscription, all your listing details will still be there and your new subscription will have all the benefits of the new Premium Listings, including the option to add a deal. See below for instructions for cancelling and renewing.
How do I cancel my listing?
You may cancel your listing at any time by logging in to your dashboard and clicking the “Manage Subscriptions” button under "My Listings". Please be aware that when you cancel a listing subscription, it is demoted from the site immediately. Your payment is not prorated for partial months.
How do I renew a listing?
To renew a canceled subscription, go to your dashboard, find your listing under “Canceled”, and click “renew”.
If I cancel my listing now, will it stay up until my current subscription runs out?
When you cancel a listing subscription, it is demoted from the site immediately. Your monthly or annual payment is not prorated for partial months. If you want to find out when your listing subscription renews to cancel your subscription on the last day of the payment cycle, see below.
How can I tell when my listing will renew?
Log in to your account and click the “Manage Subscriptions” button under “My Listings”. Find your subscription and look in the “Next Payment” column to see the date of your next renewal payment. If you have an annual listing subscription, you will also be sent a notification one week before renewal.
What is a registration button?
Now, in addition to adding a link to your main website, you can link directly to a registration or purchase page for your classes, camps, or attraction. Choose from SIGN UP or GET TICKETS button options, add the direct link, and it will appear in your listing for a strong call to action.
