Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania

Morris Arboretum invites families to learn from Briar Bush Educator Ehren Gross, as he takes participants into the fascinating world of owls. Learn fun facts about these nocturnal creatures, including details about their adaptations and behavior.

Visitors get to hear some of their calls and experience an up-close encounter with one of our smallest owls, an Eastern Screech-Owl. The evening program concludes with a brief venture outside to search for signs of owls. It is important to dress appropriately for the weather. The registration fee includes one child and one adult. Individuals without a child are welcome. This class meets at the Arboretum’s Bloomfield Farm Horticulture Center.
