Commemorate Memorial Day with a special ceremony held virtually this year on Facebook. The ceremony includes remarks from Peter Seibert, President & CEO of Independence Seaport Museum, Captain Louis A. Cavaliere, United States Navy (Retired), The Chapel of Four Chaplains, The Honorable Patrick F. Dugan, Captain United States Army (Retired), and Kara R. Newcomer, Archivist, Air Force Historical Research Agency.

A new historical marker at the exact location where the American Unknown Soldier from World War I was laid during transport home from France nearly one hundred years ago is unveiled during the ceremony.
