On selected dates throughout the year, visitors can enjoy themed family activities at the Academy of Natural Sciences. Mini guide books and take-home crafts are provided as guests explore the museum at their own pace.

The themes are as follows:
Saturday, January 30: Cold-Blooded Creatures
Saturday, February 20: Animal Families
Saturday, March 20: Wild Waters
Saturday and Sunday, April 24-25: Earth and Water Festival I
Saturday, May 15: Fine Feathered Friends
Saturday, June 5: Shells and Shores

Purchasing timed tickets in advance is encouraged.
