The Upper Moreland Free Public Library (UMFPL) and the Rotary Club of Willow Grove host Roll and Stroll. Guests can expect a free outdoor event celebrating Earth Day in a healthy way by biking and walking the Pennypack Trail, starting at Mason’s Mill Business Park on Byberry Road. Children and adults of all ages can enjoy fun stops along the trail, such as games, face painting, and refreshments, as well as a bike obstacle course set up in the parking lot.

Other community organizations participating in this event include the Upper Moreland Police Department, who offers important bicycle safety information and performing bicycle safety checks. As a reminder, all bike riders under 13 must provide their own helmet as required by law. For more information email pennypackrollstroll@gmail.com.

Registration is not required, but is appreciated. Register online at www.umfpl.org/register, or with the UMFPL Information Desk in person or by calling 215-659-0741. The event is rain or shine!

Thanks to corporate sponsors. Fundraising proceeds support youth STEAM programming at UMFPL, and assist in purchasing school supplies for Upper Moreland students through the Rotary’s Backpack Project. Additional donations can be accepted at the event.
