Participants learn how to code their own game and create their own working game controller using everyday household items and food in this free workshop held at Comcast Technology Center.

Students use a Makey Makey Inventor's kit to build a custom keyboard out of unconventional conductive materials, such as fruit and Play-Doh. Then, students pair their keyboard with the game created in Scratch programming in order to connect the digital and physical world. No prior experience is necessary!

Hosted at the new Comcast Technology Center, home to Comcast's growing workforce as well as NBC10 and Telemundo62, this workshop allows children to learn alongside female professionals in the pursuit of an equal opportunity workforce.
