Run by South Philadelphia Library, this workshop features how to develop apps for mobile devices using Microsoft’s free Touch Develop development platform. Touch Develop makes it fun to learn programming skills needed to create apps and games that can run on nearly all devices from phones to tablets and PCs.

No installation is required. In this lesson, students create a game, redesign it, and learn how it can be published/shared online for anyone to play!

It is important to note that guests should use the Tasker-Morris subway stop and look for South Philadelphia Health & Literacy Center on southwest corner. There is street parking available (spots in front on Broad St are metered) as well as free parking on neighboring blocks (west is better). Beware 2 hr parking limits. Snacks are provided.
