Homeworld Play Sessions
- see all dates
Except August 31, 2019, September 7, 2019.
Babies 3-18 months along with their caregivers can enjoy a multi-sensory performance by Ninth Planet, a performance company for curious people of all ages at The Village of Arts and Humanities.
These performances are inspired by the splendor of coral reefs and undersea creatures. Performers engage babies in play with music, movement and soft objects in a safe and relaxing environment. After each Play Session, the artists of Ninth Planet seek reflections and responses from families through recorded conversations in order to learn more about their experience with Homeworld.
This group has partnered with Michael O’Bryan, Youth Arts Program Manager at the Village of Arts and Humanities, to continue research of performance for babies and deepen the understanding of attachment theory and trauma-informed approaches to performance.
Families can participate in one, two, or all three creative Play Sessions!
Reservations are free; however, RSVP is required here by visiting www.ninthplanet.org/playsessions.
RSVP for August 24 by August 19
RSVP for September 14 or 21 by September 9
