Families who visit Awbury Arboretum can participate in its family-friendly Field Studies lessons held every Saturday. An educator presents displays, information, and hands-on activities featuring a different topic each week. No registration is required. Participants must wear masks and keep social distance.

Sessions are as follows:
September 5: Butterflies & Moths
September 12: Decomposers
September 19: Water Cycles
September 26: Animals at Awbury
October 3: A Look Back at Nature in the 1700s (in conjunction with the Revolutionary Germantown Festival)
October 10: Seeds, Trees, & Leaves
October 17: Birds
