Environmental Justice Week at the Academy of Natural Sciences

The academy hosts a week of digital programming for kids and adults, exploring environmental justice to commemorate the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Families can view live events as well as download resource guides.

The line up is as follows:

Monday, January 11, 2021 3 p.m.: Academy Conversation: What is Environmental Justice?
Tuesday, January 12, 2021 10 a.m.: Where’s Rodney? Storytelling .
Wednesday, January 13, 2021 4 p.m.: Environmental Justice in Philadelphia and the PES Refinery As part of the Green Infrastructure, Climate and Cities Series
Thursday, January 14, 2021 7 p.m: Cooked: Survival By Zipcode
Friday, January 15, 2021 1 p.m: Live! From the Academy:#Philabag at Tinicum
Saturday, January 16, 2021 10 a.m.: Ask the Scientists: Environmental Justice Conversation for Kids
Tuesday, January 19, 2021 6 p.m.: Cheryl Beth Silverman Lecture Featuring Corina Newsome
