Run by United Fiber & Data, this workshop allows students to learn how to use GameMaker Studio, an intuitive program for the creation of electronic games. They learn to create a basic running and jumping game, and how to customize the game.
They also learn where to download game creation software and find tutorials to create other games they can imagine! Intermediate computer skills are required. LittleBits and Arduino kits are available. Additionally, robotics and appliance creating activities are offered. It is important to note that devices and snacks are provided. Look for the signs or balloons at the location.
