Families can climb aboard the Kalmar Nyckel for a weekend sail on the Christina River. A limit of 25 passengers is permitted per voyage, which is 51% capacity. Members of the crew share historical information with passengers.

Excursions are weather dependent. Passengers can purchase tickets in five different zone. Be sure to consult the diagram online. A minimum of 2 tickets per zone must be purchased. Larger parties can purchase tickets in more than one zone. Book ahead online.

It is important to note that crew members may be closer than six feet to passengers in order to properly operate the ship.

May hours are as follows:
Saturday: 10 am - 4 pm
Sunday: 12 pm - 4 pm
