Underground Railroad Walking Tour
Chester County History Center welcomes visitors to this family-friendly walking tour that features locations around downtown West Chester tied to the Underground Railroad and its agents.
Participants can expect to see eight locations throughout downtown West Chester that played an integral part in the Underground Railroad, a network of people who offered shelter and aid to enslaved people escaping from the South. T
This outdoor tour takes about 75 minutes and covers approximately 1.25 miles. The sidewalks and terrain may be uneven. Rain or shine, this event supports the educational mission of the Chester County History Center. No refunds are available.
