New Grit: Art & Philly Now
- see all dates
The Philadelphia Museum of Art support the city’s art scene by featuring twenty five emerging artists who have connections to the city in this exhibit on display through August 22. The exhibit is included with paid admission.
Works of art highlight ideas of being and belonging through many mediums including ceramics, fiber, glass, painting, photography, sculpture, and video. Also on dipslay are five major new commissions that range from installation to dance. The exhibit is held in the Museum's new 10,000-square-foot space for contemporary art.
To park, once guests have turned on Art Museum Drive, make a right into the parking garage. Or, guests can continue up the hill on to the Upper Terrace for accessible entry and limited parking.
Please keep your family and others safe by always wearing masks and maintaining social distancing measures. If an event appears too crowded, try using the “nearby” search feature on our event calendar to find something else to do.
