Let’s Go Outdoors reads the story, Ruby’s Birds by Mya Thompson, in AdventureWoods at Awbury Arboretum as part of Longwood Gardens' Community Read program. Guests should register in advance to receive a copy of the book.

Capacity is limited to 12 children so be sure to register and secure a spot. There are two sessions: 10 am- 11:30 am and 12:30 pm-2 pm.

After the story, guests can enjoy a short bird hike. Parking is available near 6060 Ardleigh Street. Then, follow signs to the Secret Garden entrance. Please note that one book per family is the limit.
