Family Adventure Tour at Glencairn Museum

Glencairn Museum

Families can learn about life in the Middle Ages at Glencairn Museum. Guests can expect to discover how herbs were used, how people trained for a medieval battle, and what was necessary to become a scribe, stonemason, or stained-glass artist.

Participants receive a booklet describing the adventures. Kids collect six adventure badges: Herb Genius, Brilliant Knight, Perfectly Pious, Certified Scribe, Stained-Glass Master, and Expert Stonemason. Then, the are a Glencairn Museum Adventurer!

Reservations are strongly recommended however walk-ins can be accommodated as possible.

Hours are as follows:
Tuesday and Thursday: 10 am–11:30 am
Tuesday through Friday: 1 pm–2:30 pm, 2:30 pm–4 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 12 pm–1:30 pm, 1:30 pm–3 pm, 3 pm–4:30 pm
