Climb aboard the cruiser Olympia to view this special exhibit titled Difficult Journey Home in honor of the centennial anniversary of the journey home of America's Unknown Soldier from World War I. This exhibit runs through November 25.

This exhibit is comprised of 11 panels that tell the story of how theCruiser Olympia's captain, crew, and the Marine Honor Guard attachment aboard risked their lives to ensure the Unknown Soldier be delivered safely to Washington, D.C.

Viewing the exhibit is included with paid admission to the Independence Seaport Museum.
