The first zoo to earn a certification as a Certified Autism Center, Elmwood Park Zoo offers special after hours trick or treating for guests with special needs and their families/caregivers. Visitors can expect a more relaxed setting, ideal for those with sensory sensitivities.

Kids can walk the zoo, stop at treat stations, meet the animals, and participate in a costume parade.

Advanced tickets are required. Personal care attendants and/or one-on-one aids may enter at no charge.
