Infant and Child CPR Courses in Connecticut

For some of us, it’s hard to tell one end of a newborn from the other. We are, shall we say, the “scientifically challenged”.  But even those of us who didn’t shine in high school science can benefit from of one of the many CPR and First Aid classes available in Fairfield County.

CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) courses instruct one in how to perform rescue breathing and chest compressions to help sustain oxygen flow for someone who has collapsed.  First Aid classes instruct individuals how to treat burns, wounds and other emergency situations.  Also available are Car Seat Safety Checks, where you will be shown how to install your carseat properly.

All of these classes and checks are great ways to make sure you’re as prepared as possible for everything your little (or big) kiddos might throw your way!!!

Sports Fan Clubs for Boston Kids: Red Sox, Celtics & Other Local Teams

Kids love to be part of something special, especially when it's created just for them. Thanks to local sports teams, children can become card-carrying members of exclusive kids' clubs designed to enhance the experience of attending local professional and collegiate athletic events, from basketball to hockey to everything in between. These clubs combine kids' love of sports with the excitement of belonging to a group all their own, so you've got a win-win!

This Week: Spring Break Weekend Trips, Easter Bunny Train Rides & Spring Festivals

It's been a busy week culminating with three big holidays on Friday—Passover, Good Friday and the start of spring break. With a slew of activities on tap, there is no shortage of fun for you and your family!

We've got Easter weekend festivities, ranging from egg hunts in NYC, to bunny train rides in Connecticut, to hayrides in search of the Easter bunny in the Philly area. And just in time for spring break, festivals in nearby Westchester or a day at the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge in New Jersey. Of course, nothing says spring like a nice picnic among the trees and flowers at Planting Fields Arboretum, one of the best things to do on Long Island with young kids.

For you ski buffs, take advantage of the last few weeks of the season with these weekend trips on our Travel site.

Here's what else we covered on the NYC site this week:
