This is the way... to a fun-filled day! Join AMP on Saturday, May 4, for imaginative activities for kids, tweens, and teens that focus on our quarterly theme of Space/Science. The whole family will enjoy:

Activities are included with admission. Kids 18 and under are free on Family Day.

Storytime: Space Exploration 10:30am
The younger set will love listening to these illustrated space stories, thoughtfully curated and read by our Special Guest Reader: Carol Parent of Beardsley Library.

Out-of-This-World Improvisation (ages 12+) 11:30am
An hour of fun improv games, interactive challenges, and humorous activities to spark your imagination and make you laugh. No experience is required. Led by Deb Holleran of the Music Theatre of Connecticut.

Build Your Own Mars Rover + Sandbox Obstacle Challenge (All Ages, All Day)
Boldly go where no Rover has gone before! Build your own mini Mars Rover model, then crush the challenges posed by the terrain. 

Star Tours Scavenger Hunt (All Ages, All Day)
You’re our only hope! Go on a self-guided space-themed Scavenger Hunt to explore all three levels of the mural gallery and discover special features of the indoor mural. Ask for the Space Scavenger Hunt at the visitor desk.
