The 90-Second Newbery Film Festival is an annual video contest in which kid filmmakers create short movies that tell the entire stories of Newbery award-winning books in just a few minutes. Creative takes are encouraged: think Charlotte's Web as a horror movie, or The Tale of Desperaux as a musical.

Make a free reservation for the Boston screening of the 2024 90-Second Newbery on Saturday, April 6, 2024 here: https://90secondnewbery.ticketleap.com/90-second-newbery-boston-2024/

The screening is at 3 pm at the Boston Public Library in Copley Square (in Rabb Hall), hosted by film festival founder James Kennedy (author of The Order of Odd-Fish) and Boston's own Rebecca Mahoney (author of The Memory Eater and more).
