Maya Heritage Community Project- Kennesaw State University- Great Hall
The Maya Heritage Community Project researches and engages with Maya organizations and people of Maya heritage in the United States and inside the Maya homelands of Central America and Mexico.

Treasures of Terminus- Georgia State Anthropology- Lower Level

Chocolate and the Ancient Maya- Great Hall
Learn some of the ways that chocolate was incorporated into everyday life from an authority on the subject: Terry Powis of Kennesaw State Dept. Of Anthropology and Geography.

Bow and Pump Drill Use- Kennesaw State Anthropology Club- Great Hall
Maya used to drill items like jade and shell into everyday items (even teeth!) to show status. In this station, uncover how bow and pump drills were used.

Pottery Demonstration- Lower Level
Learn how various Native American groups made pottery from in this detailed demonstration.
