Mother's Day Fun in Fairfield County, Connecticut: Races, Yoga, Brunch and More

It’s coming, it’s coming, it’s coming... Mother’s Day! The one day a year when children are required by law, tradition, expectation, whatever, to treat us moms like queens. And just in case the kids haven’t been preparing for the big day with the same fervor that you have, we’ve compiled a list of activities in Fairfield County that will make Mother’s Day 2017 one to remember!

Experienced yogis and newbies alike will enjoy this low key afternoon class at Family Tree Yoga that will include individual yoga postures, partner yoga, and fun group poses. Class will end with a relaxing guided meditation. Preregistration recommended.

Mother’s Day 10K and 5K Health Walk—Norwalk

Run Like a Mother 5K—Ridgefield
May 14, 2017
This race features a party-like atmosphere, music along the route and a Mother's Day rose for every finisher. There will be no race day registration, so be sure to sign-up in advance. Sunday, May 8th at 8am for the kids’ 1 mile run ($25 entry fee) and at 8:30 for the adult 5K ($45 entry fee).

Mother's Day Bike RIde—Old Greenwich

Celebrate Mother's Day and brush up on safe biking practices with this annual 6-mile ride to Tod's Point (there's also a one-mile kids' ride and a beginners kick bike ride). Preregistration recommended.

Renowned Bernard’s restaurant in Ridgefield will be serving a buffet brunch from 11:00am - 12:30pm. If you're looking for something a little later in the day, they're also serving a 3 course Mother’s Day Dinner from 1:30- 6:30pm. Reservations recommended.
