If your kids are crazy for the casts of Toy Story, Coco, or Inside Out, now’s their chance to hit the greens with the well-known characters. Pixar Putt opens Sunday, August 1 at Battery Park City's at Pier A, bringing an 18-hole interactive course and expanding our collection of mini-golf courses in NYC—at least for a time! Take note: The pop-up putt-putt experience is in town for a limited run.

Whether they want to take aim into the gaping mouth of a creepy Benson doll or drill a hole-in-one through the front door of the ballooned house from Up, good times are par for the course at Pixar Putt, where kids can also relive some of their favorite scenes from Cars, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and more. Fun photo ops are endless, too.

How to Get Tickets for Pixar Putt

While we wish the thrills would go to infinity and beyond, this event has a limited run through Halloween. Luckily it’s open daily in August, September, and October, and tickets are already on sale. Timed-entry tickets must be purchased online in advance; there are no walk-up sales available.

Regular hours are Sunday-Thursday from 10am-8pm; Fridays and Saturdays, the course stays open late, but a special "Pixar Putt After Dark" experience is 18+, so the last family-friendly reservation slot is at 6:30pm on those days. Tickets for children ages 12 and younger are $24.50; tickets for everyone ages 13+ are $34.50, but families can save a little cash by purchasing a four-pack of tickets for $22.44 per person (or $89.76 total).

Everything is completely outdoors, but some COVID-19 safety protocols remain in place, including physical distancing, capped player numbers, and enhanced sanitation.

Tickets have already sold out for several days, so you'll want to reserve your space soon to play with Woody, Buzz, and the gang before Pixar Putt packs up and heads out on its U.S. tour.
