Saturday, September 1 The New York Unicycle Festival's main event takes over Governors Island all weekend, with skills competitions, and far-out entertainment like one-wheeled sumo contests.

Sunday, September 2 Circus Amok plays Socrates Sculpture Park with its band of jugglers, stilt-walkers, acrobats, and more.

Monday, September 3 Pack your picnic blanket and head out for one last alfresco picnic in one of our favorite underrated parks.

Tuesday, September 4 Help light the way at the annual Morningside Lights Parade on Saturday, September 8, by attending this lantern-making workshop. Pre-registration is required.
