In honor of Women’s History Month, meet Deborah Sampson, the first woman to enlist, to fight, and to be honorably discharged from the American Military.

Start a conversation with Deborah, portrayed by Judith Kalaora, founder and artistic director of History At Play, to discover the incredible story of how she disguised her gender to join the American Revolution. Take a close look at her authentic colonial attire, listen to interactive tales from her upbringing to her soldiering, and learn a military drill!
