Visit the community ofrenda, designed by Brooklyn-based artist Mincho Vega. Leave an offering at the ofrenda so everyone can remember, learn about, and celebrate the loss of loved ones.

SPANISH IMMERSION PUPPET SHOW
Karina Onofre performs a Spanish-language puppet show about the Día de los Santos celebration in Guatemala. Enjoy singing and dancing while experiencing Guatemalan culture and traditions.

AZTEC CEREMONIAL DANCE
The Mexica people, like many other Native nations from the Americas, have a rich culture in which the principle of interconnectedness is central. Join Cetiliztli Nauhcampa for a memorable ceremony filled with Aztec dance and song, and come together to form a community circle.

CALAVERA FACE PAINTING
Calavera face painting is a popular element of Día de los Muertos celebrations in Mexico. Line-up for floral calavera face paintings by BCM educators.

BARRILETE-MAKING WORKSHOP
Learn about barriletes, a Guatemalan kite-making tradition, with Mayan artist Ixmucane Artisan. Craft kites using colorful tissue paper and bamboo.
