Nature Exploration, Prospect Park Audubon Center, 12-4pm
Join the Prospect Park Alliance for nature education programs at the Prospect Park Audubon Center, the first urban Audubon Center in the nation. This event is part of Prospect Park Alliance’s Opening Weekend celebrations.
Discovery Pack, 12-3pm
The Prospect Park Alliance invites you to get inspired by nature with our Discovery Packs, a ready-to-go kits filled with nature activities for families.
Animal Encounter, 2-3pm
Join Alliance Naturalists in learning more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection. This program starts promptly at 2 pm.
Family Bird Walk, 3-4 pm
Prospect Park is a stopping point for hundreds of bird species each year. Join in and search for these amazing creatures and other nature around the park. Binoculars and bird guides are provided. This program leaves promptly at 3 pm.
Spring Cleaning, 2-4pm Lefferts Historic House, $3 Suggested Donation
Join Prospect Park Alliance at the Lefferts Historic House for spring cleaning. Help get the house looking good for the season by helping us wash our windows, floors, costumes and more using 19th century methods.
Carousel Rides, Noon to 5:00 p.m. Children’s Corner, $2.50 per ride, $11.50 for a book of 5 tickets, free with Alliance Family Supporter membership.
Celebrate the start of spring with a first ride of the year on the Park’s beloved 1912 carousel.
