On Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30, skip the lines, noise, and frustration of holiday shopping and spend the day taking care of the great outdoors and learning about our environment.

Discovery Pack, 12–3 pm: The Prospect Park Alliance invites you to get inspired by nature with our Discovery Packs, ready-to-go kits filled with nature activities for families.

Nature's Helpers, 1-2 pm: Help Alliance naturalists keep our corner of the park clean and healthy by removing litter around the lakeside. Materials are provided and all ages are welcome.

Animal Encounter, 2-3 pm: Join Alliance Naturalists in learning more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection. This program starts promptly at 2 pm.

Winter Bird Walk, 3-4 pm: An Alliance Naturalist will lead guests through Prospect Park to see which birds are still around and discuss how they survive during the cold winter months. This program leaves promptly at 3 pm.
