Mars 2020 Perseverance Launch

Wanna go to Mars?  All it takes is a little Perseverance!  NASA offers live coverage of the launch of the Perseverance rover.

Perseverance is scheduled to land at Jezero Crater, Mars on February 18, 2021, with an expected mission duration of at least one Mars year (about 687 Earth days). Once on Mars the rover is tasked with seeking signs of ancient life and collecting rock and soil samples for possible return to Earth.

Perseverance launches from Cape Canaveral, Florida.  The target launch time is 7:50am Eastern on July 30, with a launch window of 7am to 12:30pm Eastern.

Central time launch target: 6:50am, launch window 6am - 11:30 am
Pacific time launch target: 4:50am, launch window 4am - 9:30 am

Live launch coverage begins at 7am Eastern/6am Central/ 4am Pacific on NASA Television and the agency's website.  The website also lists additional watchable-online content.
