Without the convenience of modern cooking technology, women in the 1800s had to be very skilled in the kitchen and find ways to make life more convenient. One of these solutions was a Dutch oven. Using a traditional method of outdoor cooking, participants will get to try making fried doughnuts in a Dutch oven to eat and enjoy.
