The Museum of African American History, Beacon Hill, and Nantucket present a public reading of Frederick Douglas' Fourth of July address.

They have gathered on the Boston Common for over a decade to share a reading of this powerful speech. This year, in order to take care of each other and each other’s health, the Boston reading is held as a live virtual event.
