Families and Folk Art: Pattern and Repetition
Participants explore the artwork on a guided tour of the Memory Palaces exhibition, then return to the studio and use mixed media to create their own pieces that focus on detailed patterning.
Families and Folk Art is held the first Saturday of every month. This program introduces children ages 4 to 12 and their accompanying adults to folk art through interactive discussion-based tours in the galleries followed by hands-on artmaking activities inspired by objects in the museum.
Museum admission is always free. Space is limited; registration required.
