The Barnes & Noble Kids' Book Hangout is a nationwide program for young readers ages 6-12 to experience the joy of reading as they discover and talk about books while playing fun games and activities. 

This Hangout features five exciting titles and offers new giveaways and promotions, while supplies last. Kids do not need to have read the featured books, but should come ready to find out about new characters, stories and genres.

The five featured titles are:

  • Who in the World is Carmen Sandiego? by Rebecca Tinker;
  • The Giver (Graphic Novel) by Lois Lowry, adapted by P. Craig Russell;
  • Oregon Trail #1- The Race to Chimney Rock by Jesse Wiley;
  • Click (Graphic Novel) by Kayla Miller; and
  • Pay Attention, Carter Jones by Gary D. Schmidt.
