Join the Urban Park Rangers for a walk on the shore dedicated to the horseshoe crab, a “living fossil” that has existed for over 445 million years.

Please note: Outdoor programs are offered with limited attendance so that you can have a safe and enjoyable time in parks. Based on New York State guidance for sports and recreation during COVID-19, protocols are in place to keep participants and staff safe and healthy:

  • Stay home if you're sick
  • Maintain six feet of physical distance between households
  • Wear a face covering
  • Wash your hands

Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer to park programs.
